The sculpey masters are then baked in a household oven until hard. Here, we see four already baked walls laid out for the next step. The window frames are separate pieces - Brent has already cast these in resin, and uses them as standard parts when making building masters.

The masters must now be used to create molds, which in turn will be used to mass-produce the final resin parts. Here, Brent is constructing a "mold well" around one of the wall pieces. The well is made from strips of plastic card held in position with modeling clay. RTV (room temperature vulcanizing) silicon rubber will then be poured into the mold well and left to harden for 24 hours.
