Artillery and bombers were used before the assault.
Tanks, armoured cars, and Bren Gun Carriers were used. Equipment would have been British. The tanks included Vickers Mk VIb light tanks. At least one SdKfz 222 was used, or the cannon was mounted upon another body. British types of armoured car would also have been used.
