TMP Theme Song #13
This was originally another 'Billy Joel' style experiment, but later I noticed flaws in the result, so I simply generated a replacement "in the style of Billy Joel."
What's surprising about this one is that the AI pretty much rearranges the entire lyrics, which usually results in a train wreck… but in this case, it works!
One of my all-time favorite TMP theme songs.
TMP Theme Song #14
This was a repeat attempt, using the same prompt as theme song #10:
Harmonious male folk-rock sunset, intricate acoustic guitar fingerpicking, tight vocal harmonies, gentle percussion accents, nostalgic Americana vibe, introspective lyrics, warm analog production, smooth and polished sound, laid-back tempo, emotional depth, rich storytelling, intricate vocal arrangements, evoking a sense of unity and introspection.
So this was an attempt to get Sonauto to produce a song in the style of an artist (in this case, Billy Joel), without actually telling it to copy that person's style. And again, it's an OK style, doesn't seem remotely like Billy Joel's style to me.
TMP Theme Song #15
It occurred to me that a song similar to the theme song for the TV show, Welcome Back, Kotter, might be suitable for our theme song. So the instructions were "in the style of 'Welcome Back, Kotter' theme song by John Sebastian."
As often happens, multiple attempts were made, one of which generated a great song that I couldn't use, because the AI screwed up the last verse.
Which led to this song:

TMP Theme Song #16
I asked for something in the style of the great Harry Chapin.
Once again, there was a really fun result, that I didn't use because the AI screwed up some of the lyrics. The technology currently doesn't give the option of keeping the tune and re-doing the song.
And eventually this song turned up:
So nice to hear even an imitation of Harry Chapin, I was a huge fan. And another good theme song.
If I had to pick a favorite for the week… tough choice this round, but I'd go with #15!
