In addition to the games on the schedule, there were just as many games of all types going on in the open gaming areas of the ballrooms as well as the conference rooms set aside for open gaming. The convention also provides games that can be checked out for use in open gaming.

However, all was not just boardgames. One WHFB game featured a rather unusual pairing of Ogres and Dwarves vs. Skaven and Orcs. Meanwhile, several Flames of War battles raged at different points of the gaming room, including a British vs. Italian skirmish and an epic-looking Ostfront battle.
