King Charles XII is with them. (I asked Rich how he made the fortifications. It turned out that when he originally made this Narva set, the lines extended twice the length we had room for here, so these pieces represent only a fraction of the historical lines. They are made from styrofoam, roughly carved to shape, painted tan, and then the outside faces were sprayed - from a distance - with white paint for a snow effect.) |
