Now the Swedes hit our left wing. The clump of Swedes further to the top of the photo, including some artillery light enough to cross the snow (see the blue wheels), prepare to make another assault next turn. King Charles XII is with them.

(I asked Rich how he made the fortifications. It turned out that when he originally made this Narva set, the lines extended twice the length we had room for here, so these pieces represent only a fraction of the historical lines. They are made from styrofoam, roughly carved to shape, painted tan, and then the outside faces were sprayed - from a distance - with white paint for a snow effect.)
