At the end of the Swedish first turn, the referee called for morale rolls for the entire Russian army. On the left flank, the result was that all of our cavalry decided to run for the river bridges. (Compare this view with the earlier shot of the left flank - note the empty space where our cavalry once was...)

This causes a number of problems on the right flank, where the fleeing troops run into and through the defending Russians on their way to the bridges.
