Not all of the manufacturers were in the dealers' area. The convention also had tables in the hallways which were available for rent by the hour, and which had a lot of traffic (being near the food service counters!). It was here that I briefly found Battlefield Props, a small local company which sells handmade terrain pieces.

Owner Chris Burson was away gaming, so his wife was attending the table (though she was too shy to be photographed!). She was not to be left entirely out of the gaming, however, as I later saw her at her husband's side in the WHFB tournament, dusting off each piece as they deployed their army, and offering tactical advice!

As a promotional gimmick, Battlefield Props was giving away "river slices" (photo above) to prospective customers. On the bottom of each piece was the name and address of the manufacturer.
