Here's part of the town that we never had time to fall back on, but which proved central to the historic battle. Note how the town has been built of blocks, each composed of four distinct areas. This is a rules mechanism common in games of many periods, but I'd never seen it displayed on the tabletop in such a convenient form. All of the terrain seen in this battle was hand-made years ago by the designer, Bill Keyser.
