The mold with finished figures

Then the mold is removed from the machine, allowed to cool, and then opened (with a fair bit of tapping with a mallet). And within - are the finished figures!

Notice how some of the figures were cast successfully, but others didn't turn out just right. You can also see how the metal flowed through the center of the mold (leaving a shiny metal "axle"), through the channels, and into the cavities where the figures are formed.
