PRODUCTS I BOUGHT
- Books by Brent Nosworthy
- Brent, formerly a game designer with SPI and Victory Games, is now the author of several military history books. He was one of the guests at TriCon, gave at least one lecture (which, sadly, I missed), and he was autographing (and selling) two of his books in the Exhibitor area.
- The Painter's Guide to World War Two Naval Camouflage
-
Had to pick up this reference guide from Clash of Arms, as I've been putting off painting up my WWII Pacific fleet due to my uncertainty on how to paint them. (Now I have no excuses!)
- A Roman Army for DBA
- TCS had three 15mm DBA armies at their booth (all from Viking Forge), and
the prices were so irresistable that I spent most of the con trying to decide which army to buy. I finally decided on the Middle Imperial Roman army (list #69), figuring it would make a nice companion to my Gallic army. (I made the usual convention mistake of buying the wrong thing - Middle Imperial Romans are
a few centuries too late for my Gauls, what I really need is a Camillan Roman Army. Oh, well...) The army pack turned out to be short a few figures, which I hope to get the manufacturer to redress.
