I am Personal logo Editor Gwen The Editor of TMP. My real name is Romsal Macarimbang. I want to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about myself, so you can get to know me.

I am the youngest among the six children of my parents. My father passed away when I was one year old. My siblings are all married now.

Map of the Philippines

I am currently living with my mother in Cotabato City, in the far southern part of the Philippines. I lived in Manila (capital of the Philippines) for more than two years, but it was expensive there. That is why I've chosen to live here with my family.

Our house

My mother added a room to her house for me to live in.

Door to my room

We are a big family with lots of kids. My eldest sister's home is just next door. My two other sisters are abroad, and their children are here too and my mom is taking care of them; plus there is another sister who lives here with mom with her kids too. There are fourteen kids here!

Some of our family members (and me!)

If you do not see my work on TMP, it is because I usually work with the advertisers. I work 40 hours per week, but my hours are flexible, which is good because I sometimes have arthritis or other health problems and cannot type or walk.

My laptop

When I am not working, I help watch over the kids and we watch funny movies and play games. My happiness is my family – especially the kids, even though sometimes they stress me. I am like their Santa Claus, because I always give them coins to encourage them to get an education. They knock on my door before going school, and I give them coins. They also love to visit me in my room, because they know I always have food to share!

On pay day, I normally eat out with the kids at McDonalds because they love to eat there. In these pictures, you can see me at McDonalds with ten of my nieces and nephews!

My brother-in-law is still in the hospital. The surgery is done, but he is still weak and we are all worried about him. Hopefully everything will be OK.

And again, thank you so much for your help. My family appreciates the prayers and support from our TMP friends.
