Here are the four most recent TMP theme songs, with some commentary.

The biggest development since my last report is that Deep Dream Generator has discontinued support for the Sonauto music AI. However, I can still generate songs directly from the Sonauto website, and can still access the songs already generated on Deep Dream Generator.

TMP Theme Song #9

My directions to the AI were: "In the style of "Piano Man" by Billy Joel. Happy tune."

I like this one, and I think it's a good imitation of the artist. However, it starts abruptly, perhaps due to the uniform time constraints imposed by Deep Dream Generator.

TMP Theme Song #10

As a further experiment, I asked the AI what the style of Billy Joel was. It said:

Harmonious male folk-rock sunset, intricate acoustic guitar fingerpicking, tight vocal harmonies, gentle percussion accents, nostalgic Americana vibe, introspective lyrics, warm analog production, smooth and polished sound, laid-back tempo, emotional depth, rich storytelling, intricate vocal arrangements, evoking a sense of unity and introspection.

So I tried that.

Sounds nothing like Billy Joel or his music to me! And the AI ignored the 'male rock' instructions. But not a bad song.

TMP Theme Song #11

I asked the AI for a style that would suggest friends getting together, and it came up with:

Theme Song #11 on Deep Dream Generator
Dimly lit tavern, worn wooden barstools, clinking glasses, murmurs of conversation, melancholic piano chords, soulful vocals telling stories of patrons, harmonica wailing in the background, intimate and nostalgic atmosphere, raw emotion in every note, cozy and inviting ambience, live performance energy, evoking a sense of camaraderie and shared experiences.

Which led to this song:

Interesting. Changes 'solo' to sole' once, and 'very last victory' becomes 'very, rarely victory'.

TMP Theme Song #12

I asked for something in the style of Margaritaville by Jimmy Buffett:

Rather cool! Changed the lyric from 'when you return' to 'when we return'. One of the lines at the end is pretty garbled. This is my favorite in the batch.

Thanks again for all your requests! We've got quite a supply of upcoming theme songs now…
