First Look: Barrage's 28mm Roads

Barrage Miniatures Sponsoring Member of TMP writes:

Hi, guys,
sure that is the effect of camera flash. The roads actually have matt surface. You can dry brush them, wash, re-paint, use dry pigments and flock. The thick is between 1mm and 3mm aprox. depending on the surface: more elevated in the middle of the piece and less in the tracks.

Previously, we looked at the 28mm streets and sidewalks available from Barrage Miniatures. This time, we're exploring the 28mm products in their Roads range.

Crossroad Section

This is the Crossroads Section, pre-painted, cast in flexible resin (as described in detail in our previous article). It's listed as 28mm and 1:56 scale, 12cm square.

Crossroad Section plus small road

Let's add the Cobblestone Road, Small, which is 20cm long and about 7cm across. (There's also a double-length piece available.)

Plus curve

Let's add a curved road section. This one is so new, it's not in their online catalog yet. 22cm across.

Plus S-curve

And let's add an S-curve section (also not in the catalog yet). About 23cm across.

Plus bent section

Lastly, here is the bent road section added. 12.6cm across.
