I took these pictures way back at Bayou Wars 2006, and (sadly) I wasn't playing in this game, so I can't tell you what the rules were or who put the game on. (I'm sure some of you will know!) I believe the terrain levels are made from layers of cork, as they had some flex to them.
I had another game in this time slot, so I had to take photos on breaks from the game I was playing in. There are the pre-game shots...
The forces were provided to the players on disposable food trays, ready to deploy.
Now I've dashed back to witness some late-game fighting, as the Allies press into the defile.
When it was all over, I dashed behind the table to get a German's-eye-view...
...and then I took a picture of the happy participants!
