A bit of most, I guess – rank and file I build as rank and file, but I do a lot of minor mods for musicians/officers, etc; for sci-fi and for leaders I have started doing major mods, including a fair bit of scratchbuilding; my last medieval general was built with parts from about four different sources plus some putty and sculpting |

One of the main attractions of King's Mountain AWI figures is the separate heads. That's how I made my Hillbilly Highlanders. |

WWII only for me: My figures are mostly soft or hard plastic, so my modifications are easy enough to perform. I use resin and metal figures as they are without trying to modify them. Interesting poll. Hope I'm not attacked for such a comment. -- Tim |
