It was a toss up for me between Vlad the Impaler and Ivar the Boneless. I chose Ivar because he wasn't bat crazy. |

Ahem. It was Black Jack Pershing, not Blackjack. He was an officer in a "Colored" regiment. I have no idea how well he did at cards. And it was "Bill" Halsey. "Bull" was a typo that caught on and he hated the name. But then, maybe Mad Anthony was not all that happy with his nickname either. |
