Glover and Smith's Shipwreck that Saved Jamestown is excellent. It's the story of the Sea Venture shipwreck and the effect that had on temporarily revitalizing interest in the Virginia Company of London, long enough to keep the Jamestown settlement afloat. Read it in grad school. |
