None of these: In fact I have only ever bought one of the sets on this list and I loved them when I played 20mm Napoleonics.

You know, I've owned I think seven off this list. Most I read and never played, and one I truly hate. But a lot of that is taste. I suspect most of these will yield a plausible Napoleonic battle if they're played at the proper level, the scenario is well thought-out and everyone uses Napoleonic tactics.

We take rules which work perfectly well for 2-4 players and a division a side. Then we round up the entire club, put multiple corps on a side or use corps-level rules to fight jumped-up skirmishes, and blame the rules when the results aren't satisfactory. If you want a good sporting event, don't enter your fuel-efficient economy car in a drag race.

This poll won't inform which are the worst rules. If a set of rules is rumored to be bad, then many won't by it. Poll should simply ask which is the worst rules you have played.

Never bought any of these but have played several which never "grabbed" me enough to move me away from my favorite (which is not on this list).

Yes, thirteen voted for it, I assume that's how many bought it. grin

I suppose I would have to vote for Le Petit Empereur. At its core, a good ruleset, but all of Chipco's offerings are either a super-terse toolkit, or a sound framework with too much junk bolted on (LPE is the former). All are laid out terribly.

I really shouldn't look

There is a legendary set my friends played at a convention. Name withheld.
The game was totally focused on morale.
So, to get himself out of a tight situation, my friend charged a solid French column with limbered Royal Horse Artillery and routed them.
I don't think that was supposed to happen.
