You know, the makers of the first Planet of the Apes movie have a lot to answer for. And the presence of at least 5 architectural items of no tactical interest--ALL put there just to say "this is a future ruined Earth"--makes the point Boule made in the book: if we can't show more creativity and originality than that, we might as well let the apes take over. |
