They've done Car Wars I think – Cars that ate Paris, Mad Max, Mad Max Two, Mad max Three and Mad Max (the reboot). |

"En Garde!" (the original RPG), "Cordite and Steel," "Little Wars," "1776," and "Yellow Ribbon" (for starters!). TVAG (And I'd be VERY generous on the screen rights to C&S!) |
Parzival | 08 Feb 2016 9:57 a.m. PST |
GOBS! Screen rights available from yours truly, Any time. Will alter to suit your Hollywood whims, won't complain about the results, happy to cash the check. Okay, that aside, I have to point out that Car Wars is so obviously inspired by Deathrace 2000, with doses of Mad Max mixed in, as to already have a movie about it. But a Space: 1889 movie would be a visual treat, and is one of the few game properties not obviously based on something else. |

I think RULES would make for rather bland movies however a movie based in the more common SETTINGS might be interesting |
Who asked this joker | 08 Feb 2016 10:43 a.m. PST |
None of them. I'm not even sure why you would want to do that? Dungeons and Dragons has had the movie treatment several times…to no good effect. Why would wargame rules be any different? Now get off my lawn.

I'm assuming that by RuneQuest you mean the original Chaosium rules with the Glorantha setting. |

Heavy Gear, Dust, Shadowrun, and maybe Infinity. I'm sure they would tank in the theaters. |

Twilight 2000 as a TV show would be pretty cool. |

Lord of The Rings I know it's been done already but I'd like one that plays like the rules. Better still film alternative versions of each scene and let the audience dice to see what happens. Roll a 1 in the wrong place and the story ends early as Pippin breaks wind while they are hiding from the Ringwraith in the first film. |
