You know guys, I've been watching the WWII people argue over equipment colors, vehicle markings by units, dates of adoption of different uniforms and armor penetration by distance, caliber velocity and type of ammo. If we want to maintain our reputation as the fussiest of the historicals, we're going to have to work harder at it.

Hard to match Napoleonics for color or speed, though. We've got the flashiest command groups EVER, and wars tend to be settled in a day. None of this look at the map, consult the personnel and equipment reports and then check with Intel to figure out who won.

Agreed WWII players are now the fussiest bunch. It's not just uniforms, what they are really fussy over are the rules. A rules set just cannot be complicated enough for them.
