Might of Arms does a great job as well.

Warrior with list specific rules makes them more competitive. We can discuss play balance/point shaving that occured with the other Asian lists separately though. Lol

The facts are that if playing within period and geography, most rules work well. My problems have been modeling against ahistorical opponents. Then there is the question of armor being rated too poorly or too well.

Other: Black Powder. The statistics of the unit types can be tailored to suit a player's biases about the period just as well as any other 'period specific' rules.
