My favorite is the old Citadel Battlemat that I purchased in 2005. I have never seen anything quite as good since then. |

Citadel are good, but I prefer Cigar Box over both them and Deep Cut. |

I'll agree with arsbelli on the Citadel Battlemat. It's been a very good purchase and has seen a lot of enjoyable wargaming on it! |

My three Monday Knight mats (6' x 4') purchased over two decades ago (green fields, desert, and a black speckled star mat) have seen lots of service, and never failed me. I recently picked up a "mousepad" mat from Tiny Wargames, and it is lovely. I suspect it will hold up as well as my old MK mats have. I also have a custom mat from Hotz (4' x 4') to use for my westerns. I like it quite a bit. Eric did a super job on that mat. |

Monday Knight Mats. They made me a custom size and I use all the time. |

I won't use any more Cigar Box Mats. They just don't photograph well. To bright and too lightly colored. |
