Very nice to see my wife's hometown (Windsor, Ont) on the poll – love Stirling, fantastic place to visit

Interesting that in addition to about a dozen listing the UK gets a separate heading as well!

I would have added Rotorua and Wellington, New Zealand

As a native, let me tell everyone who wrote down Washington DC why they should change their vote.

Wellington NZ is certainly among my top ten places I want desperately to visit, and even scout out as a possible relocation or second home place.

Other than that, my votes all went to UK sites this round. I particularly love the Celtic fringe and the north of jolly old England.

Other: No opinion/I don't care/I love them all equally well. Take your pick.

I still don't care for the apples/oranges aspect. How does one compare a country with a city? (OK, except Singapore.)

But my favorite places continue not to be listed. Where is the triune monarchy of Scythis-Pannonia-Transbalkania? Where is Jekkara, Lankhmar or Luna City? London might be on the list, but it won't be the London of 1895 when I get there, and the last time I was in New York, there weren't even any brownstones on West 35th Street.

The best places can be reached with really cheap tickets, and your passport is always valid.

I voted other. England. For God, King Harry, and St. George!
