MURDER, MY SWEET has to be the bravest casting of a Marlowe ever- Yet Dick Powell handles it brillinatly Especially the first dialogue -
Cop:" So whydja take a job that was obviously poison, Marlowe?"
Marlowe:"At the time, my bank account could have walked under a duck . . "
