White horses… I think it was set in the camargue and he one with French fighter pilots. These virtually all seem to be US shows, and many of them I have never heard of.

I remember a black & white series called White Horses which was about a farm breeding Lipizzaner horses – was it that one? It got shown every summer holiday in the UK, along with other dubbed foreign TV like The Flashing Blades, Belle & Sebastian and a French version of Robinson Crusoe.

No Danger Mouse on the list? I'm crushed!

How could I have forgotten? Banacek! One of the very rare fair-play mysteries--impossible crimes Sir Henry Merrivale would have been proud to solve.

But it does raise an interesting question. Are the NBC Mystery movies one program, or should Banacek, Columbo, McMillan and Wife and such each be listed individually? I can't remember whether "Fame is the Name of the Game" which rotated leads--Tony Franciosca, Gene Barry and Robert Stack as I recall--had separate titles, but the Mystery Movies certainly did.

And Khusrau has a point. If the UK were better represented, I could vote for Dempsey and Makepeace and Dalziel and Pascoe.

Robert, Dalziel & Pascoe would be one of my votes in this round too.

Stronty Girl, I remember all of those summer holiday French kids series. Funnily enough the last episode of "The Flashing Blade" was never shown in the UK due to a technical glitch of some kind! I had to get the DVD to finally see the final episode. YouTube link
Loved the haunting music to Robinson Crusoe, still with me 45+ years later. YouTube link

I don't think anyone would have noticed the lack of a final episode of the Flashing Blade. Nobody knew what the hell was going on anyway!

Counterstrike, anyone?
