2mm rarely appears on eBay.

Just not worth the fuss. Etsy a little, for custom dice.

About 80% of my wargaming related purchases are done on ebay. The closest brick & mortar store to me is almost an hour's drive.

The other 80%-85% of my purchases come through Amazon, The Warstore, Wargames Vault, and convention/game day sales.

Varies greatly by year. Probably 5%-50% range, averaged out, let's say 20%.

I've not purchased from eBay for quite some time (probable > 5 years). As I keep looking for some things I've put < 5% rather than zero.

there was a time that 80% was eBay, but not for many years

Probably 25-30% with the balance here or online stores.

It's definitely gone way down in the past years. Mostly it's because folks are selling without the usual deep discount of a flea market like it used to be. I might as well pay a couple extra dollars and buy the thing new.

Way down for me as well.

I'm down to occasional 'one-of' for a specific figure or item when I don't want to place a larger order with an online discount retailer.

I said 30%. I just ordered a bunch of bits and conversion components yesterday, along with some very cheap closeout minis.

@ Who asked this joker thumbs up

Pretty much my experience – I put 10% and that was probably overly generous. Used to get a lot more – now I hardly ever go and look.

I imagine for the Oldhammer guys, it'd be way high :)

Winston Smith27 Feb 2017 7:04 p.m. PST

I thought I needed some stuff for a campaign. They were available on eBay.
Turns out I didn't need them anyway.
Oh well. So I truthfully answered 20%, but if I didn't get them, the answer would have been 0%.
