I prefer hard copy, but when digital is the only format available then it has to be pdf.

I won't buy digital rules, only want hard copy.

Print them out? With the price of ink cartridges?
No thanks.
Hard copy only for me.

You can always go to a friendly local print shop, an office supply store, or the local UPS-Kinkos-whatever its called these day and have them print and bound for you. IME it's often cheaper to buy a pdf & than buying a hardcopy and having it shipped.

A lot of print stores will do a nice spiral binding for you too and as suggested, no shipping costs or having customs sit on your book for a week :-)

Yep, Winston speaks for me, too. I can't/won't print out my own rules and I'm not working from an electronic document. I hate all modern conveniences! Well, I exaggerate, but still, I resent the rush to ever-more "technology" that throws out the baby with the bathwater.

Though I do enjoy hard copies, having a PDF on my tablet is a very good thing. Easy to check during a game, and I can listen to Spotify at the same time. ^^

Printed out 126 pages yesterday and I'll never do it again. There was a B/W print option but when I compare the mass of paper to the crystal clear image on my tablet it was a dumb move.

I was £40.00 GBP for that 10" tablet, viewing screen is A5. The last couple of year I've scanned every rule book I own and they all live on a tiny SD card. WRG 5th is held together with tape, won't ever have that again.

Pushing 50 and seen more than enough paper.

Pretty sure you can have a hyperlinked table of contents AND layers in a pdf…

Yea, hardcopy for me, since with the number of PC crashes and stuff lost due to that, it's really the only reliable way forward.

Perhaps some have multiple backups, but I generally don't.
