Hard to decide what the worst mechanism is. I went with special symbols since that seems to be a scheme to sell dice. |

Lejendary Adventures, which was more of an RPG. And I *think* the old game Battlestorm (not the new one of the same name) used them, but can't verify it at this time. |

Special symbol dice for me. That is basically an almost instant "not interested" if a system uses them as the routine method of dice rolling. I don't mind it for a board game or something similarly simple or for a special effect in a game. Even if it can be easily replicated with regular dice it isn't so bad, like you have 3 blank sides and 3 hit sides or something, then you just roll a 4+ it could squeak by. |
