Latin -- late medieval and Renaissance Latin -- is the language in which I do most of my research. I read it pretty competently, but can't claim to speak it proficiently at all. I do know a couple of pretty good "dirty" jokes in Latin, though… |

Can read a fair bit, very poor verbal comprehension and can speak a little with a terrible accent (so I have been told by my brother in law, who being Jesuit taught is fluent) |
