I have voted 'I'll try anything with toy soldiers' but would be reluctant to do Napoleonic or ACW again too many bad experiences. So 'I'll try almost anything with toy soldiers' might be more correct.

I'll try almost all historical games, and some fantasy or SF.

For a while, but not forever. I give one of my current arrangements another year, but if I'm never going to get an interesting game, it's time to stop putting the mileage on the car.

It is frustrating to attend games and use rules you are not interested in and would not normally use. Pretend you are having a good time and talk up your game and rules. Then to see little or no attendance at your games. I am going to try a few more times and then its "check please."

I am part of a very diverse group of gamers. We will play almost anything. They play games that I put on and I play in games that they put on. We get together weekly.

Yes, I'll try any wargame at least once, except for tournaments.

I've had similar experiences to Rallynow at one club in particular, but, at another club, plenty of folk were happy to jump in and try something new. Quite interesting variations in culture between the two clubs.
