Trees from Oregano

Pat Ripley Fezian is after something that has presence, that actually looks like a small stand of tropical bushes, and is cheap, tough and portable.

"Gettysburg: :Lee's greatest Gamble", from Command magazine.

I voted for the original Avalon Hill board game. Even though I don't think I ever actually played it, this game set me on my road to be a wargamer. My older brothers bought a copy when it first came out. I was about 5 and I became fascinated with the map and the pieces. They got Tactics II later and that one I played, even though I could barely read. The rest is history.

It did ask "favorite" and not "best".

I'm feeling sorry for "Three Days of Gettysburg". Three editions and no votes. According to the pre-poll discussion it is an improved re-working of Terrible Swift Sword… which at this point has several votes.

I'll go for Gio Games "Yankees and Rebels".

I voter for Avalon Hill original. Since this is The Miniature Page, I would add that I used it a the basis for a 20mm relight on more than one occasion.
