For the most part, no. However, my son has played X-Wing and Wings of Glory on occasion. Other than that, once again I am the only wargamer in the family. |

Yes, my son does but unfortunately his job work hours now interfere with his gaming. He gets Wednesday and Thursday off as his weekend. Jim |

Younger brother and I have been wargaming against each other as adults for 50 years. If you count gaming as kids – then more. My son as an opponent on and off (mostly off now) since the 1990's. Grandson vs me began last year. So far it's 1 – 2 in favor of him. |

When my son was much younger, he's 43 now, he did RPGs like D and D and TNMT. When a little older he got into Mech Warrior. That all ended when he went off to college and got more interested in girls and drinking games with his frat brothers. It all worked out, he's a civil engineer in Philadelphia, married now for 15 years, with two kids. Doesn't seem to have affected him adversely, although when his employer sent him back to school for his Masters he got corrupted and turned into a progressive. |

Became a Dad, to three boys, ages 9, 10, and 12, back in 1998. They went ga-ga over my 28mm fantasy mini's. I did not want my mini's to be mishandled, so I looked around, and I saw they had plastic Army Men figures, in their toys… I wrote up a set of rules, using CRT's and d6's. We play-tested them, and then I self-published them. Two of my sons still play it with me, even though they are grown men, and one has a son of his own (age 3). My eldest has five kids, but lives across the country. My eldest grandchildren always lobbied me to play 'war' with them when I visited, but my son and daughter-in-law wanted nothing that involved violence, so I improvised new, non-violent rules on each visit. Now they are teenagers, and that interest has passed. Hoping to introduce my oldest grandson to my Plastic Wars, Army Men games, some day… Planning to re-write the rules and print them in hardcover, for myself, and my three sons. We have some great memories of big Army Men games we played, back in the day. Maybe then my eldest son will introduce his sons to it. We will see. My two younger sons are taking an interest in my 2e BattleSystem games recently. Hoping they will enjoy it enough to want to inherit my collection, by the time I die. Otherwise, my collection may wind up in the dumpster. Won't matter to me, at that point. Cheers! |
