I counted 21 items on that list that we have at the table. There's eight-twelve of us. Some things we make weren't on the list. |

Our Thanksgiving (Canada) was more than a month ago but we remain turkey – dressing – mashed potatoes – gravy heavy Although for the next day my sister in law always makes penne with meatballs! |

I can just see a huge dining table, with beautiful fall centerpiece and place-settings, loving family gathering round for egg rolls and diet soda. |

The holidays always mean an old family recipe for Fortudadusa is made. Boil canned milk and water, add Cream of Wheat, sugar and lemon zest, stir until thick. Pour into cooled glass pans and put in fridge for a day. For final prep, cut of into rectangular blocks of about 1 1/2" x 2 -3", roll in whipped egg then coat with Graham Cracker crumbs and pan fry in oil. Keep warm in a crock pot until dinner time. |

There are probably 10-12 things we have on the table. It's a good holiday in the US since most of us take the day before and after off from work. |

This really needed to be broken down into more manageable sections. Like Meat, Sides, Dessert, Gravy/Sauces. Would have made the choices better. To be limited just to five is a crime. |

I have no relatives in New Orleans except my number 2 younger brother, whom I see every day because he lives in our spare bedroom. This being the case, SWMBO, my brother The Dark Master, and I dine out. LT PS For some reason this message showed up twice, thus the deleted message after this one. |

Yep, too few choices. Ours included turkey, white and dark, cornbread stuffing with sausage, mashed potatoes, long green beans, cranberry sauce AND cranberry jelly, orange cranberry nut bread, mincemeat pie and pumpkin pie. Oh, and some red chile sauce. No gravy in Albuquerque. And I'm the only one here liking mince pie? It's my favorite. |

It's usually just me and the missus,so I usually get a boneless turkey breast,Dressing, mashed potato flakes, corn, jellied cranberry sauce, crescent rolls, turkey gravy, and some individual cream pie slices or cheesecake. My OL also brings some non-perishable eats to a local food pantry affiliated w/a neighborhood church. |
