Zulu Impis versus the Roman legions is basically the plot of "Tarzan and the Lost Empire" – there was an article on how to game it in Miniature Wargames a long way back. In the book The Romans lose ! |

Don't under estimate the Zulus (as us Brits found out!!) Fast moving light foot soldiers with guts to spare could easily wrap round a Roman Legion and destroy them…If they are lucky… |
