Um… I hate to admit this, but I have a few pieces of stone I broke off a stone of Hadrian's Wall. This probably counts (and also makes me subject to imprisonment in the Tower). |

We all do naughty things piper909, and I sincerely hope the good city of York never missed that tiny fragment of masonry that accidentally ended up in my pocket. And yes, I have a small piece of the Berlin Wall…. Other than that nothing but a few vials of sand/dirt from special places. Carthage,Clontarf, Thermopylae and such. |

I had a piece of the Great Wall (which like the Piper would probably land me in the clink) but I gave it to my secretary |

I now expect to be stopped at Customs my next trip to jolly old Great Britain. I also have natural stones and sea shells from places in the UK and France and a pal brought me some stones from Last Stand mound at Thermopylae. And some geegaws carved from Mount St. Helens volcano lava. In exchange, I have often left stones from our yard in the places I've filched from. |
