I wanted to go with skaven (my first wargaming army), but I am contractually obligated to vote "slann" or "squats" whenever given the option. BTW its SLANN, not SLAAN. I am mindful of it, because half the Warhammer frogmen on Ebay are called "slaan". Almost as prevalent mistake as "Rouge Trader". |

I'd say Orcs, Chaos or Empire are close but I went with orcs because warhammer orcs are warhammer orcs. |

Voted Chaos Dwarfs as being Iconic. Not the most recognized race. Hands down that is the Orcs. But the Orcs are widely prevalent in almost all fantasy games. Chaos Dwarves just screams GW. and since it was a GW specific question… |

I voted Chaos. Not many other places do you see the Chaos (including all of it's variety), but just about everywhere do you have elves and orcs. Editor, why is "orcs" not a recognized word in the dictionary but "elves" is? |
