Not for regular 6-sided, but I recently got back into D&D (after 40 years!) and I found I could not read my old multi-sided dice very well. So I got a new set that were bigger with LARGE numbers :) |

Another where I could have picked about three truthfully. Dice heavy enough to damage castings, Cracked dice and dice with chipped edges have been discarded. Dice with bad contrast have been fixed. Either the pips have been repainted or the multiple-color dice have been discarded. D6's with Arabic numerals have been discarded unless they're DAV's. Logo dice have been picked up when suitable for an army, and sorted so that within a period, all the logos are 1's (fantasy/medieval) or 6's (WWII/SF.) Generally, everything is easier to read and carefully sorted. Still looking at custom dice for Vichy France and for my Dwarves, though. |

Of course, the old ones kept rolling badly and new ones are shiny and must roll better! |

I did so for D6s about a year ago. Bought a deal on Amazon of D6 pipped dice and they are easier to read. Although some make fun of the batch of pink ones in the group, they often find that not to be in their best interest after I have battered them with a mass roll of 6's at a critical juncture. |

I voted Ridiculous. Since 'No' wasn't an option! -Edit- Oops. I missed the paragraph that means no. Changing my vote! |

Nope – I have more than enough dice for the immmediate (and far forseeable) future |

The only dice of mine that have "worn" down are the old AD&D dice from the 70's. But I do keep adding dice to my collection. Because I either lose some or I want a new set of "luck", since my older dice have gone "bad" on me. |

I just put some dice frames on stands so I can use dice to count hits on units, etc. I was planning to use them with standard Chessex 5/8" dice, but discovered that my 40-50 year old Avalon Hill dice actually fit them better (like, perfectly). So they're coming back into service! |

Oddly, I had to vote 'other' as I am constantly buying dice but not to replace or upgrade (I just like dice and I tend to 'churn') Phil |

I used add new dice in a quest for "perfect" ones, but nowadays I'm pretty happy with what I got, and the only new ones I've bought in years have been specialist ones needed or convenient for some particular game, e.g. Saga dice. |
