Playing Full Thrust, you rarely if ever throw one die only :) |

I never thought of shaking two dice. I imagine I would usually drop both, or lose one trying. |

Interesting idea. It might solve what I have often thought of as a pitfall of tossing a single die. It's often dropped rather than truly rolled. This can defeat randomization sometimes. |

You know, they do make medicine for such conditions. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go straighten the corners on my cushions. Can't have crooked corners! |

If I roll high will this be the last dice related poll for a while ? :-) |

I am with Psloi – I am not coordinated enough to be counted on not to drop both dice |

A number of my friends do it and it always confuses me because I KNOW they are supposed to roll just one. I do admire their dexterity, though. |

What a strange thing to do. How do you not roll both by accident?? |

For the less adept, I might suggest throwing both, but using dice of different colors. So long as they announced which die counts before the throw, I don't see a problem. |

Sounds annoying to me. Just like the people who roll multiple dice one at a time, usually from too great a height and they go all over the table. |

I do it all the time. In fact when playing Warmachine I usually rattle three and roll two. |

One of the more annoying things I've seen a player do is blow on his dice just before he throws them. I guess it's for luck or something, but it seems useless & silly. |

At some point you have to consider dice therapy. ;-) mjc |

enough already with the dice. next it will be rock-paper-scissors. |

I usually use a dice cup, since I'm both a wargamer and a roleplayer. So count out the appropriate amount of dice, drop in cup, rattle around, slam cup down upside down on the table. Lift in trepidation to see the result. Have to have a bigger cup for those buckets-of-dice games though. |
