"Renaming the Seven Years War" Topic

The 1st World War, which it most certainly was.

I've got no problems with First World War, but seriously Seven Years War (like 'Dark Ages') is a time honoured name and I am rather fond of it. After all, the Hundred Years War went a fair bit longer than a century, and I seem to recall that the Thirty Years War wasn't that either… No, I'm happy with the traditional name :)

Leave it as it is.

We need an option for "Don't rename it at all."
"None of these" implies that you should rename it but you don't like any of the choices.

I was going to suggest "Warrie McWarface", but on second thought Seven Years War is just fine.

I like John's first suggestion, but I have to agree with the conclusion and leave it as it is…
If the editor had only listed "Warrie McWarface" as an option…

I would also have voted for Warrie McWarface, but as that is not an option, I'll go with none of these.

Wouldn't it be at least the Second War of Prussian Aggression anyway?

The Seven-ish Years War

I would stick with Seven Years War – which in my mind includes North America and India

It technically is the First World War but I can't see this catching on any time soon
