God should have saved the King!

Roundhead? Doesn't that mean Traitors Against Their Rightful King?

Guess you know how I voted

Roundhead

I don't believe that there should ever be Kings or Queens.

This question may require more nuance. Plenty of unattractive persons and options on both sides, along with some men of good will on both. It's really hard to project your current self into the past; are you supposed to have total self-awareness or are you purely a product of your times? Do you know how it's gonna turn out? Are we expected to think like a modern person or like a 17th century person (as best we can suppose)? How much free will did most people truly find themselves with back then?

All that aside: Royalist, probably. Less hypocrisy than from those Psalm-singing Calvinists.

I agree with Mithmee. How Royalty still exists surprises me. Saying a regular human by birth is better than someone else based on who they were born too is too difficult for me to swallow.

YMMV.

Well, I'll take Royalist over the 'worship the god of brotherly love our way or die crowd'

I'm with the Confederate Irish who were willing to fight alongside the British Crown.
