I do it and enjoy it. Either I discover a ruleset that turns out to be an interesting take on the period, or I find the set has little or nothing to recommend it which adds to my collection of stories to tell my friends. |

Well yes if you are using single based figures for skirmish gaming. But there is no standardized basing so choosing, a set of rules is a huge decision. Particularly if your re-basing. |

I can use my Ancients – mostly based on 40mm bases – for multiple rulesets. And enjoy trying new sets out. |
