Trick question that.

For 25mm miniatures, 1/64 cars work great.

for 28mm, 1/56 at least, and I don't mind going bigger if it's just cars.

32mm is right out.

32mm is much closer to 1:48 scale and 1:43 scale than most 28mm figures. Personally I would have preferred ranges such as those by Crooked Dice to have been bigger so that they mixed better with the vast quantity of 1:43 scale that are available on E-Bay, at collectors fairs and on magazine series.
