"Big Trouble in Little China" is a horror film?

You said it, OC… as often happens, a completely invalid option is going to be a finalist in one of these polls.

The poll is skewed by those of us that don't watch Horror movies. On this list there are only 5 that I've watched, and I consider Army of Darkness and Big Trouble more comedy than horror, so if comedy horror is a category than those are my choices.

It is not, but this is TMP.

It's a weak point in the polling system. Editors who may not be familiar with the subject sometimes include nominations which really shouldn't have been made, or leave out valid ones. But professional polling organizations often do no better. We can appeal to Bill in particular cases, but I don't think there's an institutional fix.

An American Werewolf in London is a classic.
I would watch it more if I could.

I think I already know the winner. And it will have many here howling. But it has not appeared yet (and as I write, we're up to Round 1 D). I myself have seen it many, many times, ever since it first appeared.
