3000 is the only logical answer to the question as presented. I would prefer about 20-50 for some small skirmishes. |

Well it is a good thing that the Apaches did not have 3000 warriors. The largest battle that I found was the Battle of Apache Pass, where there were around 600 Apaches and they lost around 60+ fighters. |
