Dewey decimal on the bookshelf.

No really.

SWMBO is a librarian. All our books are like that, and we have an online catalog.

The PDFs and similar are properly organized on the main computer by estimated playing time and genera ready to be loaded onto the players Ipads for a game. The hard copy rules are in two piles 'To be scanned for playing' and 'already in PDF'.

On a bookshelf, randomly.

I went with not organized, but I try to rebind pdf and comb bound ones together by period into 1 volume. Beyond that it is hopeless as people during the pre and post game time pull out rules to thumb through and then just jam them back wherever, including in the bottom of the terrain tubs.

Other – in small piles all over the place. Usually where I can't find them….

By period in file cabinets.

"Organized" isn't a word I'd use in this context.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one scanning to PDF.

It so handy. Bookmarks, adding notes, searches are all a breeze to do.

By publisher in the bookcase. All the Ospreys together, all the GW, all the Warlord etc. Much neater!

Syrinx027 Jul 2016 7:08 p.m. PST

Generally on a bookshelf unless it's on my desk or in my travel bag. Not really organized other than in clumps by game type.

Oh sure they are organized, I have rulebooks over there and rulebooks by the sofa and rulebooks in several different rooms of the house.

Saxondog29 Jul 2016 2:40 p.m. PST

Mine are mostly grouped by game/genre on book shelves…. mostly. The best way to describe the organization is they are on book cases……. mostly.
