? If you don't count "mounts"— which is a horse which is being ridden or intended to be ridden— then I haven't painted any horses. If you include cavalry, then I've painted a few. |

Without riders – maybe 50-60 pack and limber horses. With riders well over 1000. |

I am almost done with a Moorish army which required me to paint about 100 horses (not to mention camels, but you didn't ask about that) And considering I have been wargaming for better that 50 years, the mind boggles at the number of horses that passed across my painting table. |

Well, I believe that when we started gaming with miniatures I was in 8th grade or thereabouts, so we're talking nearly 60 years. Long time, Clyde. By the way, are you still using crayons? LT |

At first I thought a fair number but not a huge herd lately--20+ Cavalry & Apaches for a convention game. I then recalled my painting several ECW & ACW Cavalry & Dragoon units, each with 12 to 24 figures, (+ limber horses) decades ago. So in the 100-200 range |

Tons and tons – lots in 15mm, lots more in 28mm (SYW and Medieval pretty much guarantee that) and untold hordes in 6mm Napoleonica |

About 600, unless I missed something major while doing a quick census. I assume the "not mounts" is intended to exclude donkeys, camels, wolves, dragons and other non-horses that figures may be found riding. |

I don't know and I'm not about to count them. |

I thought I was close to 1,000 but way short, but just added them up and have over 1,000 15mm horses with generals, cavalry and limber/ wagon teams. |
