I can believe that the Americans suffered heavier proportionate casualties than the more experienced French and British. But I'm having a hard time swallowing the British and French killing four to five times as many Germans. Really? With the Germans on the defensive? Doesn't seem right somehow.

I agree Scott. It seems ole Geoffrey has an axe to grind and doesn't care if facts get in the way.
