Never, because the local stores don't do games.

My never is no longer. It's to far by public transport for me carrying figures. If I was younger I would.

I used to game there about once a month. But they kept relocating into smaller and smaller locations with les and less gaming space until they disappeared entirely.

We had two hobby/game stores in the area. One had gaming every Thursday night when they stayed until midnight. We gamed there almost every week. Then they closed. The other has a game night once a month. Ocasionally we'll go there but one of our group has opened his house to us to play so it's easier/better to go to his house.

It's not that I have a problem with the local store they all seem like good people but the current situation is working very well for all involved.

Very rarely – have gamed at the local Games Workshop once and a few times at another local gaming store, mostly because our group games in a community centre – and the games they run at the gaming store are not what we usually play

The local store used to let us old farts put on historical games. Then we ourselves got a bit uneasy at the sight of a bunch of middle aged guys trying to pick up teenagers. grin
At any rate, one kid kept getting called back to his computer game.
So it's now my basement and everyone is happier.

My local groups will split our weekly games between a players house and one of the 2 FLGS. Usually at least once a month we play at a store.

The local game shop was reported to have a group meeting at the only evening was always tied up. Leaving notes for them never got a response.

On the positive side, I suppose that means they have all the players they want.

Used to be about monthly, then they moved. To a larger, nicer location that is 15 min further away. Plus they now are combined with a coffee shop so I can't bring my own beverage in. Now it's never.

THey are not exactly local unless you consider an hour and half drive, but I try to hit their monthly historical game day when possible. Heading in the opposite direction, another group runs 3 game days a year at three different game locations. The local guys are lucky since they game every week.
