They hadn't done it when this poll was being canvassed, but destroying their own fantasy campaign world sorta lost me…

A lot of things on the list I don'r personally like – but considering that they are the largest and most profitable figure company in the world (AFAIK) I can't really call them "mistakes". Had they continued to stock Call of Cthulhu, and cover it in White Dwarf, would they have been even more successful ? Probably not.

With 20th Maine. I don't care for GW, but some of the things which annoy me most are probably making them a ton of money.

Most of these to be honest :) But shouldn't that be "Arrogant attitude that they invented the wargaming hobby" full stop? I still hear that sort of talk from young players when they see any war-game at all . . .

I lost interest when they changed over to plastics for everything. The style of game the rules dictated didn't help either.

Financially that was certainly not an error though.

I think Finecast was a big mistake for them, especially how it was launched. The initial releases were terrible, full of bubbles and holes, half unusable. It was kind of a disaster and turned a lot of people, including me, off of it forever.

If a customer hadn't sent me some LotR figures in fine cast that were amazing I would never have bought any again.

I'm with 20th maine for the most part too. Ending the Bitz program was annoying but I can see how doing that was just not very profitable for them.

It was great for Inquisitor though.

Although I will say that with the amount of extra Bitz left over from plastic frames I'm certainly not missing it.

Killing the Old Worls has effectively cut three quarters of the players here

Another list that needed to be broken down into 2-3 lists.

So many things to choose from.

i had at least 10 marked and finally came up with roughly five.

could have gone 3 rounds on this, although some of these are redundant.
